The Anderson Basal Salt Mixture is a plant tissue culture medium formulated by W.R. Anderson in 1978 and 1980. It provides a foundation of essential macro and micronutrients required for plant growth in aseptic conditions. Compared to Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium, Anderson’s formulation reportedly promotes a two-fold increase in the multiplication of red raspberries.
