Prickly Thrift seed germination

The tiny, spiky blossoms of Acantholimon caryophyllaceum, the Prickly Thrift, hinted at the stubborn beauty within. Propagation, however, proved a thorny path. Seed, stubbornly refusing to germinate, mocked my hopeful efforts. Cuttings, woody and resistant, demanded meticulous care, each tiny sliver a gamble against the odds. Finally, a tender green shoot emerged, a fragile victory, a testament to perseverance, a tiny cushion of hope blooming against the odds.
